1. About these terms

This website is operated by DOT Services ("we", "us", "our"), a construction company based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, UK. By accessing or using this website — including the AI Extension Builder tool and the chat feature — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. Using the website

You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and to enquire about our services. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.

We make every effort to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we don’t warrant that it is complete, current or error-free. Guide prices, timescales and other figures are provided for general information only and are explained further below.

3. The AI Extension Builder

The AI Extension Builder is a free tool that generates a concept image based on a photo you upload and the details you provide. It is intended purely for inspiration and to help you picture the possibilities for your property. By using it, you agree to the following:

• Concept images are illustrative only. They are AI-generated visualisations, not architectural drawings, planning documents, or guarantees of what can or will be built.
• They are not a quote. Nothing produced by the tool is a price, an estimate, a design proposal, or a commitment to carry out any work.
• Planning guidance is indicative. Any comment the tool makes about Permitted Development or planning permission is general guidance only. Whether your project actually needs permission must be confirmed properly — we do this at the free quote stage.
• Your photo. Photos you upload are used only to create your concept image. They are sent securely to our AI image provider (Google’s Gemini service) for that purpose. We never publish them or share them with anyone else, and we only keep a copy if you choose to send it to us as part of an enquiry, in which case it is used solely to deal with that enquiry.
• Upload rights. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any photograph you upload, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
• Decisions are your own. You should not make financial or building decisions based solely on a concept image. Always obtain professional advice and a written quote first.
• Fair use. The tool is rate-limited to keep it available to everyone. We may withdraw or change it at any time.

4. Quotes, estimates and guide prices

Any prices, ranges or timescales shown on this website — including in our cost guides and the chat feature — are indicative guide figures for the Midlands and are not a formal quotation. The only accurate figure for your project is a written, fixed-price quote following a free site visit. A binding agreement only comes into effect when we provide a written quote that you accept in writing.

5. The chat feature

Our website chat is an automated assistant that provides general information about our services. Its responses are for guidance only and may not always be accurate or complete. For anything specific — a price, a booking, or advice on your particular property — please contact us directly by phone, email or WhatsApp.

6. Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics and layout of this website are owned by or licensed to DOT Services and are protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not reproduce, republish or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

These terms relate to use of the website only; the work we carry out for you is governed by the separate written contract for that work.
